$50. #5 of 35 Morgans purchased recently. This one was the most surprising of the 35 as I didn't expect a better date like this to pop up in the bargain bin. I have never owned a 79o as I guess I never really looked for one. It also came with the pink envelope that it was purportedly stored in. Thoughts? Thanks!

Nice coin for the price! Grab that date all day long at that price.

I agree with MS-62 here. It also looks at least SPL. I haven't seen many 1879-O dollars that aren't baggy, and those coins seem to sell well over list when they appear.

the 79(O) are known for sharper strikes so this one is right there. overall i'd call it a MS62 coin. just a little too baggy to pull a 63
