A coin that surprised me when I found it for my collection. The most art deco one struck in Portugal.

Rupia-In-Art-Deco,-1935

And it was struck for a far-away territory where its new style would have gone unnoticed at the time.

Very cool coin, jecz! It kinda looks like Santa.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

The reverse looks like it has Santa Clause holding a domino.
