it weighs 9.3 grams and has a diameter of 16 mm. I'm suspecting one from one of the Indian Sultanates.

The weight, diameter, and general appearance suggest a falus of the Sultans of Gujarat. However, I didn't find a match with a quick search on Zeno. By the way, India is not in the middle east, so if you suspect an Indian coin it would be best to mention that in the title. Hopefully another member will be able to attribute your coin.

Yes, that was sloppy on on my part, India is indeed not in the middle east!

I think this is D705 (again)

Looks very similar to D701, but that's silver and heavier.
