I've recently sort of come into an interest in coins that don't really have any kind of album that is cheaply available, at least from Dansco. There are some albums available in some capacity, however, I don't really care for the way they are laid out.

I don't really like dealing with 2x2's personally. I've noticed, however, that if you can find a blank album for the coins in particular that you are looking to store, Dansco has great options with their blank cent and nickel albums, as well as others. I think this is the way I will go moving forward. The other advantage is being able to add whatever and not include whatever coins that you should choose. For example, I am somewhat interested in Indian Head cents, and I know this is probably kind of sacrilege, but I don't really want to include the Flying Eagle cents due to price. With a blank album, I can add whatever Indian Head cents that interest me.

That said, the label part is kind of... Wishy washy. I can print up my own labels using Notepad on my PC. It is, however, kind of hard to anticipate correct spacing, font, etc. I find my OCD at full force here lol

I did up the end of the page in one of my Lincoln Cent albums to accommodate Shield cents from 2010-2021. I don't think it looks too bad, however, I don't think I would want to do this with every single album. But it is obviously a much cheaper option, as it cost me nothing to print up.

Are there any label makers out there that don't cost 100+ dollars that are good for something like this?

You already know—well, I assume you already know—that I have yet to label any of the unlabeled holes in my Dansco albums. Probably because the coins already have "labels" on them, sort of.

You might want to look into Avery clear labels or something similar. That way the label text is printed on a clear background instead of the white background you're showing. I think the smallest Avery rectangle size is .5x1.75 inches. That might work for labelling 2 coins that are side by side on 1 label like you've shown.

Except after C, or when sounding like 'AY' as in neighbor or weigh.

It's more of a pain, but I found when using the name label function on my Brother PT200 the label is printed as a two -line label. When cutting them in half horizontally they make a nice, smaller label for the coin. I used to do this a lot with my 2X2s b/c that way it made a neat looking label on them that would fit..
