It seems to me that the P and D pennies this year will be limited to a total of 190K since they are only found in the uncirculated sets, but the S pennies are found in both the proof sets and the silver sets with a little over 420K in the proof sets and no limit on the silver sets. Which considering the craziness with the 2025 pennies should make the P and D pennies the scarcest coins this year.
What are everyone's thoughts?

to the Community! Where did you get there is a limit of 190k? No limit is given on the product page. Yes, the past three years the sets have not sold more than 190k, but sales of these sets are based on demand. 21RJ 2021 UNC SET 239,037
22RJ 2022 UNC SET 249,964
23RJ 2023 UNC SET 184,349
24RJ 2024 UNC SET 188,829
25RJ 2025 UNC SET 188,832

Ah, it shows under subscription, not the current product. I believe that is just the subscription limit and the actual product is not limited. However, they can shut down sales at any time after release like they did with the proof sets last year. It is possible that subscriptions are on pause while the figure stuff out. I expect you to be able to subscribe to them later and if demand warrants it, the limits can change. Regardless, I have been subscribed to all three sets for a six years now, so I expect to get them with no problem.

I am doubting the 2026 pennies will skyrocket as much as the 2025 ones have, considering that many collectors and resellers will be buying them in hopes that they will be worth as much as the 2025's. I will be buying one from each mint, but no more than that

Only time will tell I suppose. I plan on getting one of each of the Proof sets and the uncirculated set so I will have one of each.
Since the mint has increased the prices on everything they may well not sell out of them.

Yeah, who knows what the mint will do this year - they already mixed it up enough.

First and foremost, With the combination of the 250th design change and the ending of the cent I would be very surprised if the final sales figures are not double that of the previous years. Numbers not seen since the quarter craze of the 2000's. We could only hope that future cents included in the annual sets be the original 88% copper.

Quote: Yeah, who knows what the mint will do this year - they already mixed it up enough. True. Are you all ready for this "Final Cent" to not be so final? I fully expect the NIFC cent will be included in all three Mint sets for 2027, 2028, and beyond.

Quote: We could only hope that future cents included in the annual sets be the original 88% copper. You mean 95% copper. It was the small cents from 1856 to the middle of 1864 that were 88% copper.

I agree the mint will continue to produce NFIC pennies as long as they can make a buck on them, no reason not to.

Agreed and once the current President leaves the next one may change it back and start making pennies again, you just never know people love their pennies.
