I believe I saw this on the forum some time ago. However, I can't find an exact post. What are these lines on Liberty's cheek? Are they die polish lines? I see similar often on reverse fields. They seem more common on the 78s although that might be coincidence. Thank you.

first thought was FFD, but they would be deep in the design, so most likely not Feeder Finger Damage.
There are more of the lines behind the nose (Under the eye)

I'm not sure if these are the same. My thought was die polish lines. This is a different coin, but look at the lines in the fields. This is a 79.

Another 78 example. Same type of lines, different direction.

Could it be die polishing or roller marks?

My thought was polishing. I doubt they're any type of flow lines as they don't seem to radiate outwards. They're also not hairlines we see from severe cleaning.

I've seen these on lots of GSA Hoard coins. I think they are roller marks.
