1990 Penny With BIE Error? - Coin Community Forum

A BIE is a Die Chip that forms in between the B and E in Liberty. it happens when a small piece of the die chips or breaks, creating a raised blob on coins. It's incused on the die. As a note, it's customary to post full, large and sharp photos of the obverse and reverse, in addition to a pic or two of the feature(s) in question.
