not sure what is going on here, but it looks raised at that straight line that goes across the face. (judging by the shadows.

We need to seethe edge and reverse side of this nickel, if you please.

Thanks for the reverse side image (you should always post up both sides in the initial post)

But EV may be correct with a partial split planchet.

Thank you for the feedback. Would this be something getting verified? I've been a coin collector for my whole life but have just recently attempted to get organized and learn more about what I have.

I did try to load both sides of the coin in my original post but didn't realize I had to load one then go back and load another. It kept replacing the first I chose to upload with the second I was trying to load. I have figured it now but I do apologize.
