Very hard to tell from your picture whether it's an 1888 FS-01-1888-301. The diagnostic locations seem to be in the right places, but a hit on the bottom of the 8 prevents absolute confirmation. This is the type of coin that really needs to be examined in hand by a numismatic expert. A visit to your local coin dealer might be helpful. Good Luck!

to the Community! In the future, please do not post photos of scope screens. Use the memory card or a USB cable to transfer images.

I'm not sure if you have it or not. . . . . @ Dearborn: I agree; I also cannot tell from the picture, as I stated. . . . . @E&V: I did mention that it was hard to tell from the picture the OP posted. Below I posted a pic of what I said: "the locations of the potential '7' seem to be in the right places on the OP coin, but a hit on the bottom of the 8 prevents absolute confirmation."

Quote: cannot tell with these pixelated close up images. Totally agree, like trying to attribute the coin through a screen door.

Ill try to get pics through transfer by usb or memory card. I tried via usb cord but failed to get anything except a blue screen. I have to look into exactly how to do it. Thanks for everyone's insight so far.

The memory card is usually easier. I use a cheap USB memory card reader that works on my phone and laptop. They are around $10 on Amazon.

It does look like an over date, but hard to tell from the photos provided. There seems to be a diagnostic partial Cud by the E D in united. I hope you post better pictures of the 8. Include a reverse picture. The top points of the shield should be connected to the denticles according to Rick Snow.

We'll wait for the new pictures from the OP, which can also be taken with a Phone Camera.

I am going to make a new post with pics transferred from usb I guess to maybe be on people's radar better. I am new to this forum, and I cannot figure out how to delete posts. I would delete this one and make the new one, preferably. If a moderator sees this, please delete this one. Thanks to everyone who replied.

Nevermind, I see that replying brings a post back to the top of the list. I will attempt to add pics in a reply.
