Hi -- since I am a new member I don't know if this topic has come up before. What do you think of the new ten (US $10 that is). From a historical point of view (being a history teacher) I think it's interesting. From a design point of view I am not so sure.

I like it. It has a lot more detail than the past design and harkens back a little to older more decorative notes. I have several pre- 1928 large notes with wonderful designs. The backround color certainly makes it stand out! Mike

I do like the front of the bill. The backside doesn't do much for me. Perhaps I think that they could have done more with the design than just the facade of the treasury building.

Zimba you need to check out the education notes from 1899 they are very nice

Actually I use them in class. I project images of them on a screen and ask my students to analyze them.
