I bought a Dansco 7188, removed the labeling for each hole and used my patent pending transparency sheet labeling to use one row for each released (P. D, Prf, Rev prf). There were just enough pages to get through 2025 using this method. With the cancellation of the proof set I will probably buy the 8189 album, which is for P, D and Prf for 2025-2032 and just remove the first page and use the proof hole as the reverse proof hole.

@jbuck The Roosevelt dime is done, so no empty 2026 hole, and the Kennedy half dollar as it was is done, so a good cut off point for it. As to the original topic, what about the Peace dollars? 1921 - 1928 and then a break until 1934, 1935, and arguably 2021 and the Morgan 1878 - 1904 and then a break until 1921 and again 2021. Edit to add: And just wait til the omega cent group see the circulating Lincoln Cent return in 2029

Not circulating coinage. There are gaps throughout circulating coinage of years not produced. My immediate thought were years where Walking Liberty halfs weren't produced.

I've done the same but used a brother P-Touch labeler with clear tape to completely redesign the layout for my 8188 Innovative Dansco album. Hello Mojo, You stated, Quote: " Has the Mint ever halted production of a series before it was complete like they did with the American Innovations Proof coins? " I am thinking After seeing the members replys, I believe the OP is looking for a series that was Halted, Before completion of said set. Not a series that is missing a few " holes " or dates, I could be wrong.... The Franklin Halfs were cut short for obvious reasons, .....

Late to the topic (some of us still work ) For those complaining about the cancellation and still make Mint purchases Raise your hand if you all made any mention of this within the Mints survey.

I should have mentioned it in a survey. I spent more time telling them not to do the super hero stuff. That was not effective.

You are correct It is also informative that the other issues have occurred, but most of those were driven by actual circumstances. The thing I find annoying is that there no particular reason that the Proofs are discontinued. If it is because of poor sales, why wouldn't they just state that?

In Today's Mint climate I am frustrated too, The Mint's survey is a sign of Possible change going Forward, I am thinking Could be... Have We ever seen these " surveys " before, Sure,.... Did anything change, Yes, They destroyed a Product schedule, Destroyed Our ability to search History in any effective easy path going forward, More than frustrated to navigate the site, High Noon Releases are Still, After how many years and Surveys, a Circus act waiting to be frustrating ....... A Survey is a feeler gauge of what customers feel is appropriate to be heard, Appears , They are NOT being used, I am done now, Thanks...
