CONGRATULATIONS!

That is a MAJOR discovery; one of the biggest in years!

To anybody that thinks good stuff can't be found in circulation, just ask Bullnuke!

Guys thanks for all the great comments.

I googled "1992 Close AM penny" this morning to get an idea of how many are out there and I found one on e-bay from the picture it doesn't look like mine, any comments. would have added the link but once again my computer skills are hampering me.

Bullnuke:

I agree with you.

Something just doesn't look right with the coin on E-Bay

Look at the base of the C and A of America.

On your legitimate coin there is a nice wide gap, looking at the one on E-bay, (unless its a bad picture angle?) the C & A appear to be touching each other!

I e-mailed the guy and told him I didn't think it was legit you can see an actual space between the AM and the FG was too close to the memorial (I learned alot from you guys in the last week) and offered to send him one of my pictures to compare it to. waiting for him to reply.

Bullnuke;

Agree! Great Catch.

Here are 2 pics of his coin- when I enlarged it, there is definitely a gap between the A&M and the FG initials are in the correct position for a Wide AM cent, not the Close AM!
