I think that it is one beautiful coin with a lot of luster for the variety. I also think that you dont need it anymore and that you should give it to me.

Beautiful coin, I'm going to say at least MS-65.

Well, I'd like to get it slabbed. But which TPG would be the best bet for getting a good grade and maintaining value?

It seem like PCGS has the best reputation. If PCGS would indeed be the best, how much does it cost, and how do I send it in safely? Also, packaging wise, do I send it in the 2x2 I have it in now, or buy an air-tite for it?

Thanks for the grading advice... keep them coming! It's by far my most beautiful coin, and I think the pictures pick up the luster well. It might even look a bit more defined in person!
Rest in Peace

I agree the photos show an MS-65 candidate. PCGS would be my first choice for grading. You will need to join their collector society at a minimum Silver level for about $50 to get submission privileges. Then the grading fee for this coin should be in the $30 to $50 range and you will need to pay insured shipping both ways. Check their website for all the information you need including packaging instructions. I believe you can fill out and print an online submission form once you log on as a Collector's Society member.

You might want to have a good dealer check the coin for any problems that would cause a low or no-grade outcome. If you do submit it, be sure to share the results when the coin comes back. It really does look like a gem.

I'm guessing a 64 due to the very light marks on the cheek, neck and in the reverse fields.

If it slabs problem-free by PCGS or NGC, you've got a $1,000 coin at least. 63 would be a absolute minimum grade and like the other members noted, it has a shot at 65 which would be a jackpot!

Good Luck!
