This is just a long shot but I have heard of VAM enthusiasts picking undiscovered, desirable varieties on ebay. I just bought my first ebay Morgans and I'm wondering if I happen to get lucky. :)

Either way I'm happy, but can these be attributed as anything special?

Thanks for any input!

not allot to really look for when speaking about major VAM's within those dates and we would really need to see better pictures of the coin and any characteristic you see when in hand that looks different than any other Morgan

When you get your coins, go to Vamworld and look through the 1888-P vams. See if any match your coins. without the coins in hand, and with only the pictures it is difficult to put a VAM number to them. You sure did buy some pretty coins.

Is that a book? Is a place I can go online to check out the different vams?

Paratrooper, you can go to https://www.vamworld.com. I recommend the attribution 101 as a big help in understanding things that go on with Morgan and Peace dollars. The discussion is interesting. The data on the coins is a work in progress. tey to match your coin in all aspects. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Many there, including myself will help if we can.
