Have These Dimes Been Cleaned? - Coin Community Forum

Are those scratches on the surface that indicate cleaning? It's like visiting the eye doctor: "Which is better, 1, 2, or 3?" The one in the coin flip has a very slight pinkish tone that's hard to see through the flip. As an example the enclosed part of an are usually gets some type of dirt or corrosion that just doesn't come off by wear. Summation is cleaned. Solution, Place on a kitchen window sill and if sufficient cooking is done, those coins will slowly look normal. Report this Post to the Staff
