WOW!!
Congrats on that find, needle in a haystack and all that. Worth about $25 I hear. Is it in good shape?
I'm still missing the 2006 "magnetic no P no logo", the 2006 P non-magnetic, 2008 zinc (probably does not exist) and 2009 zinc. I got two 2010 zincs in my change this week at the local mall in Montreal.
I've been asking bank tellers if they have RCM rolls of cents but the answer is always "we don't order directly from the mint". However my local Metro store seems to get a lot of newly minted coins.
Does anyone know what type of cent rolls the RCM gift shops in Ottawa or Winnipeg are selling?

RCM gift shop in Winnipeg has only had 2010 zinc cents, so far. I go every week to buy another ten rolls - I want to make sure they have to replenish their stock!

There seems to be a lot of ultra-key dates in Canadian pennies in the last 11 years.

1999P (never seen one, only a handful exist)
2000P (never seen one, only a handful exist)
2001P (Apparently 10000 were made, I have found two in circulation)
2006P (I have found about 25 in circulation so far)
2006 No P No RCM Mag (Never been lucky to find one yet, but many people on this forum have found them)
2007 Non-mag (9.6 million made according to 2010 Charlton, never seen one or heard of anyone finding one)
2008 Non-mag do not exist
2009 Non-mag many are turning up. I found mine in Watertown,New York
2010 Non-mag are available as business strikes. The magnetic variety seem to be in proof sets only.

I have the 1999P cent. They aren't found in circulation. They are from the test set of that year.

re: '2008 Non-mag do not exist'

Thoughts on where did this come from then?

"Thoughts on where did this come from then?"
Interesting!
My first thought was a proof set (copper) but then I saw a fingerprint on the obverse and it doesn't really look like a proof finish.

re: '2008 Non-mag do not exist'

According 2010 Charlton, there is no mention of it.
So either your ebay seller is wrong in his listing or Charlton has not captured this variety yet.

If it is legit, I suspect people would have been aware of it in early 2009.

I talked to the seller. Said he found it after going through 1200 rolls of cents. He also added that he has never found a 2007 non-mag.

I'm confused 1945V --- noP non-magnetic 2006
Do you mean noP and no ML (non-mag.) ? If so , I have seen many, many.I'll send you one if you want

Or do you mean 2006 with Mint Logo non-magnetic
If so many also I can send one to you
Am I missing something or not reading right?
Do you mean 2006-no P-MAGNETIC maybe?

The way I see it guys is : "The way the mint has been playing around with Zinc/Steel in the last couple of years is ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE"
"This type is for sets.No circulation. No proof sets."ETC.
What do you think ?

Collectall,

You are correct, I made a typo.
I meant to say 2006 no P, no L, magnetic

Thanks for spotting it.

I sent out a snail mail letter today to Ottawa asking the Royal Canadian Mint to explain the rationale of the magnetic and non-magnetic cents. Hopefully I'll get some sort of response.

The way I learn about mintages (and maybe a hint of the rationale) is by examining the RCM Annual Reports. Unfortunately, it's March of 2010 and we are still waiting for the 2008 Annual Report. In it, we should learn if there was a production run of 2008-dated zinc cents. In the 2009 report, we'll see the rarity of 2009-dated zinc cents.

I wonder why the delay? Oh yeah... the missing gold.
