I just bought this coin and until recently, was unaware of its existence....I just really like the design, sort of like the Standing Liberty quarter and only 100,000 produced

I like it Frazzle, it is on my list. I am making a effort to purchase most of the commemorative dollars. My focus is on the BU ones first. The BU version of this coins mintage is, as I am sure you know 23,500 which makes it one of the more expensive ones to buy.

The proofs really are nice looking coins and I do want to get more of them. I am getting ready to pick up 8 or 10 more commemorative dollars, I will order them this week. Can I ask what you paid for that one .. I am thinking $40 to $50 dollars would be about what I would like to get it for.

I paid 50.00+4.00 shipping on Amazon .com.....Looks like a lot of ebayers are trying to get 60 to 70.00

Yeah..the BU's are rarer,but,the proofs are prettier

A very nice looking coin. Question; are you confident with your ebay purchases? Do you feel safe?

I have both the Proofs and UNC Modern Commemorative dollar and half dollars and all were bought off of ebay except for the current releases. I bought the ones in mint packaging and all arrived in perfect shape.
