ChosenReject New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 03/06/2010 5:34 pm I posted in another thread about the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee's efforts to get liberty on circulating coins again. Here is some new info from their last meeting. Now, they suggest the liberty design every year to no avail so I won't get my hopes up. but it is interesting they are talking about an American Silver Eagle re-design after it was suggested by someone on this board recently :) Full article: http://www.numismaticnews.net/artic...new_commems/ Quote: As for circulating commemoratives, the CCAC recommended a redesign of George Washington's image on the obverse of the quarter, according to CCAC Chairman Mitch Sanders. Cycle thru all of the Eagle designs from all past circulating coinage and then keep changing the eagle every yr such as the kook or panda, etc... Leave the obverse... Report this Post to the Staff
