Thanks again Terry.

Is this what the DDO-007 on the FS401 is supposed to look like?

I also posted this question on the Ikegroup.org forum.

* I've only been getting serious about Ikes for about a half of year and it's quite obvious I still have a lot to learn yet about Ike's, that's for sure!*

Here are 3 pics , of the IN/ T & TR in the motto.

Chuck,
I am for some reason real close to zero good at the number designations
of the DDO's and DDR's unless I am looking at examples in the book
or on the Ike Group website.
I can tell they are a DDO or DDR just not what number.
other varieties I have ingrained in the brain.

Looks like from the photo that is tripled
just can't tell if the serifs are split.

Thanks Terry for the help.

I'll wait and see if I get a reply from the Ike group also.

I mentioned the 007 as that is the DDO that is listed with the Peg Leg FS401 on the Ike groups price list so I'm thinking that's the correct DDO, just not sure what it's supposed to look like.

Bill Sanders has one posted on the Iike group but it's with a fading peg leg and the doubling on the inside of the T seems to look different.

Nice pick-up Terry on the "Triple"

Cross references over to CONECA 1971S DDO-009

Dr Wiles has it listed as a fading peg leg, triple letters & FS401, so that's it.

I believe the 007 is the number assigned by Wexler.

This is starting to get "BAD!" (LOL)

I better start looking at more lincolns and kennedy's to take the edge off!

Tomorrow I start my weekly routine with boxes of halfs , so that'll help for a couple of days, although I also get the bags of Ike's on Fridays.( Yikes!)

Thanks again!

Chuck,
I know what you mean, There was a thread posted yesterday on another
forum debating the likes and dis-likes of PCGS slab storage boxes.
That made me just pull just a "FEW" of the boxes that I use to store
Ike's in 2x2's in and as I was sitting there counting how many
I can store in one PCGS box the wife walked through and her eyes
got quite big.(85 in one box) and she asked how many of those boxes
do you have. My answer "I Dunno" And I have only been seriously
researching Ike's for a little over a couple of years. I can't even
imagine how many Rob and the rest of the group have.
See what you have to look forward to.

Terry

Here is the second Peg Leg?- I got this in the mail today.

I think this is a 71D Peg leg, but at times under 5X mag I see what looks like a slight serif on the left leg, but under 15X the base goes straight across, so I'm not sure.

Opinions welcomed please.

I just got the 71S PSCG PR69DCAM in the mail today.

Here are pics of the earth and are of Liberty.

The earth is heavily frosted but:

I don't think this is a prototype as the are has a serif, and according to the pics/info on the prototype, that are is almost a peg-leg.

I'm still very happy with this as I had mentioned, it only cost me a little over $17.00 for a PCGS price guide list of $50.00

Latest find bag searching

It has some scratches and dings, but it also has some real nice multi-toning on it.
