Hi
No pics. except for a 72-P type 2, type 3 and 76-P type 1 I keep finding ikes (usually by the hundreds) at local banks. Most times I even do not take them when offered unless they are stray silvers. I did pick up over a hundred of them today and decided to look at them. found 2 72 type 2 and 12 type 3's. I also have another type 2 and 2 other type 3's along with a 76-P type 1. Those are the only ones i realy know of that may be of some value. Can anyone help me out as far as any premium for these ? If none then i'll cash them back in or either sell them for cheap at my flea market (any ike) They seem to be plentiful around here. I'm in Mass. Also I see references to peg legs and talons etc. worth looking for ?

Thanks for the info. Maybe I should put my 3 up on here for auction. What about the type 3's ? Worth anything more than a few dollars ? as well as the 76-P type one with a pegleg ? Thanks again

According to the price list from the IkeGroup.org, Type 3's are worth money but only in MS Grades.
They have it listed for around $2.00 in MS62, 3 in MS63, 25 in MS64, 90 in MS65 and a whopping $5,150.00 in MS66.
The 76P Type 1 is the harder to find of the 2 types for 1976 but the peg leg is normal for all Type 1's. The one to look for is the 1976D Type 2 Peg Leg. That carries a nice premium.
* Also, the 1974D, 1976D Type 2 and 1977D had 40% silver-clad planchets made in error. BIG $$$$$$ for any of these! (Thousands!)
