I had put this in the American coin section but wanted to share my excitment with the canadian`s. I found last week in my change at Tim Hortons in ontario near Toronto a 1871 Indian head. took pic`s to show you exactly how it came.

Just the other day at work I found a Wheat cent on the floor dated 1930. People have no respect for pennies.

Mine was a 1913 vdb Lincoln Cent approx 20 years ago I got from a Bi-Way store in Mississauga. (for those who remember that bargain retail chain)
I knew nuddin' about coins back then and I thought I found a goldmine.

You did, I'd pay $20,000 for a 1913vdb.
Rest in Peace

Why are there 1909 Wheaties showing up in Canada all of a sudden.

They were promoted for the 100th anniversay of Lincolns.

I'm sure some got stolen and spent, or given to people who didn't understand the significance.
Rest in Peace
