Wow, just found a 1906 Indian Head penny in a canadian roll of coins today! Pretty ugly to look at but an old one nonetheless. Too bad we could never find Canadian large cents in circulation anymore. $0.02 Worth

The oldest coin that I found was a american one. 1937 Wheat penny. oldest canadian coin is 1942 penny. I have all my nickels and quarters sitting in big jars waiting to be gone through.

I have about 15 common date pre-1920 dimes, AG to VG, which I've collected from change over the last 25 years.
It is bizarre that such a thing would still be possible.

Here is Massachusetts we see a fair amount of Canadian coinage. I've pieced together nearly a complete set of cents from 1982-present just from pocket change. A few years back I found a well circulated 1936 Canadian dime that my wife received as change at the local Dunkin Donuts.

Just got back 1 1925 canadian cent from change given back at Staples. Couldn't believe it when I saw it. Might go back there to-day.
