I don't intend to keep it, but I'd like to ask if the date could be id'ed. Even a possible date range would be helpful. I do not see this type in the 1800+ Krause. bart Pillar of the Community Belgium 651 Posts	Posted 03/24/2010 05:26 am The combination of the mintmarks "Artemise with bow" and "Cornucopia" narrows down the possibilities for this coin type to L'An 4 (1795-1796) or L'An 5 (1796-1797). As you found out: this coin is not in the 1800+, but in the 1700+ Krause. Report this Post to the Staff

coins are the best 212 New Member Canada 18 Posts	Posted 03/24/2010 12:38 pm Well, to me it is a US Half Disme,(sorry if I spelt it wrong) from 1776+ as they are the first official US coinage, not colonial. but I cannot ID the exact date as it is too worn and I do not know much about <1950's coins.
