lafaa please just leave that thing in the cardboard flip and fight off any urge to try and make the coin better, you will ruin anything you have gained by trying to make it better and in reality make it worse

Thanks for the correction Mike. I forgot about the disintegrated die cap ones. But it sounds more logical than my suggestion. But there was someone selling altered coins on ebay and I thought this might have been one of his experimental pieces. Your the error man!

Nice find Anyway no one would use a 97 to make a squeeze job/fake error out of. they should at least use a year(95)that's known for errors.He He
