Not to mention, you *do* realize you're too young to sell anything legally on ebay?

lafaa123, you really have to ask yourself, what am I collecting for? Evaluate this before you just jump and sell.
Are you only trying to collect nice specimans for your collections? Are you into the varieties or no? When you're rollsearching, what is it that you're looking for? Nice coins? Errors and varieites? Both? And why?
Some people aren't into errors and varieties, but will look for them to sell and raise money for the coins that they do want, I understand that. But, where are you in your collecting goals? Just think it through before you do anything you might regret. You don't want to find yourself at one point saying "Geez, I wish I still had that coin".
You have plenty of time. Take your time. Then if you decide that you don't want it down the road, maybe it will be worth even more.

Save anything that looks interesting. You can always look at it a later time. Once you spend it, they usually never come back around unless they are common coins.

WOW! Really cool coin, congrats! I'm with Dave, don't sell it on ebay, chances are you won't realize the true value. And for God's sake, DO NOT CLEAN IT!

It won't come off. It will further damage the coin. Best to leave it as is.

Lafaa, don't sell the coin or at least not right now. Don't be in such a hurry. It is a really cool piece and it could be the coolest coin you will own for a very long time. Allow the dust to settle. What's the rush?
In the end, you still don't really know what you have or its true value. The pros here are great for the info you have gleaned so far. Now you should get some books and research this oddity. Enjoy the fact that you found something that the rest of us have either never seen or rarely seen.
There will always be time to sell it later if you still want to do so.

Good advice...but he should at least stop the verdigris where it is now. I think you should soak it well in distilled water and then acetone. Put it into an Airtite holder to prevent any moisture or air from getting to it and growing the corrosion. On a side note, this type of coin would be ideal for the product I'm currently developing (VERDI-CARE™). Too bad the product is not ready yet. Now....I don't want him to try this...but I honestly think I could conserve this coin very well. The verdigris is light and looks to be the type that is easily removed by someone with skill.

Cool one for the eyes to see for sure! currious - is it more thick or thin than what is normal? And, I'm counting at least five immages.
