Finding some great coins to play with in my friends 35+ year old change hoard. I soaked this coin for 24 hours and used a little toothpick action on it.

Thanks bro!
I use it every night when I'm searching now to touch-up the keepers. I've figured out that if I just keep a toothpick soaking in a little beaker with VC in it, I can just rub off small specks of verdigris instantly. I use mostly tubes for the keepers and I don't want them to get contact verdigris. VC works great for this purpose! :)

Yea, I really like when some of the dull, brown coins come to life. VC seems to really bring out the color on coins like that Canadian cent.

Last night I broke open an OBW roll of 1970-S cents. Overall, it was a very, very nice roll. There was about 10 coins that had this very light white haze on parts of the surfaces. I've seen this many times before on BU rolls, but I never attempted to conserve them. I believe the haze to actually be a very light verdigris coating of copper carbonate. Decided to try VC on one of the coins and lo and behold, the haze was instantly removed. No rubbing or anything was required, just add a couple drops to the coin surface and dab dry. All traces of the haze were gone within 1 second. Naturally, I removed the haze from the other 9 coins. This was actually the worst coin in the roll, not only for haze, but spots.

It's interesting. To me it seems the coins I see the greatest improvement in are always the color of that Canadian cent. VC just seems to make them pop. Love it.
