Based on the pictures and your comments I would say VF details cleaned and corroded.

This coin looks like it has been cleaned using steel wool which has damaged the surface. I would grade it as VF-20 damaged.

Hi, I would agree with the previous posts. The scarring of the obverse is very pronounced. I would say VF details Improperly cleaned. Excessive scratches.

Agreed, a Very Fine, not the best example of it, in term of British grading.

It would grade as NVF and cleaned here in the UK, or B UNC if it was being sold by most people on ebay UK!!
