I see where it might be a 7 but if you look at the angle and separation it looks like a 2. The reason I'm asking, the am is closed so if it is 1992 it would be a nice find.

Looks like a 97 to me. Try to take a picture looking straight down at the obverse and post it. That would help.

Looks like a 97 to me, too...based on the acuter loop in the east nine.

A better pic would be good just of the object coin.It looks to me as though it may be a 2 because of the height of the last numeral.

It may just be the angle shot of the coin..but if it's determined the coin is a 92 by the height of the 2, then the 2 I'm looking at in the picture seems so far above the standard 2 in 1992.

Lightened picture a little. Check out Lincolns bow tie, it changed to the blunt end and bottom in 1993. Appears to have taken a hit, but not the two point style.

Here is a 92 proof and you can see that the 2 is quite high compared to the 9.

Thanks for all of your replies.

I was intrigued with your reply but did not have a clear understanding. So according to the bow tie what would you have guessed. In person the majority of the people I asked say it is a two. Thank you
