They both appear to have Bicentennial Dollar, Half and Quarter. Or are they different type of Dollar?
I suspect the different in Dime, Nickel and Penny. Am I that right or wrong?
It looks to me like this is another doubling.

I believe the cent, nickel, and dime are dated 1975 in the 75 set and 1976 in the 76 set. The dollars in the 75 set are type 1 and the dollars in the 76 set are type 2.

The difference between the 75 and 76,besides one year, is the Bicentennial. The 76 has a different reverse on the half and quarter.

I haven't pulled out my sets but I think the half and the quarter are the same in both sets.

This is correct.

In summary:

The dual-dated Bicentennial Half Dollar and Quarter Dollar are the same in both.

The dual-dated Bicentennial Eisenhower is a Variety I in the 1975 set and a Variety II in the 1976 set.

The cent, nickel, and dime are all dated accordingly (1975 or 1976).

Thanks Folks,
Now I know about the Dollar Type I is 1975, Type II is 1976.
Also obviously the years on Penny, Nickel and Quarter.

Halfwitty Posted - Today :3 Hrs 12 Min ago The difference between the 75 and 76,besides one year, is the Bicentennial. The 76 has a different reverse on the half and quarter.

I would like to know more about the different reverse. Red Book didn't say anything, KM says 1975 none minted.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Samuel tan

I think Haffwitty's response confused him an he is asking about a different in the bicentennial quarter an half between the 75 and 76 issues.

Short answer, there aren't any. If you talking about the differences between the type I and II bicentennial Ike dollars the RedBook should discuss them. I always find it is easiest to tell the two apart by looking at the last S in STATES. On the type I the tail of the S goes halfway up the E. On the type II it barely makes it to the top of the bottom bar of the E.

Wow.

This is a classic thread.

Remember, be careful about what you read in forums. Sometimes the information/comments are just plain wrong.

And in this case, very confusing.

When I have questions like this, I go to ebay. Search 'em out. You'll find a couple with really great pics and that should answer most of your questions.
