Is there a way to tell the differnce between a die fill error and a coin that is worn from being in circulation? See attached picture. The L in Liberty is pretty much not there and the ST in Trust is faded mostly away. Thanks

I think what your seeing is a filled die,, if it was wear the rest of the details would show similar wear.

I agree a partially filled die looks like the cause.
