johnny54321 Rest in Peace United States 4849 Posts	Posted 08/07/2010 5:06 pm I've been grinning from ear to ear this afternoon! Here are some better pictures: I'm still not sure of the grade. It's stronger than pretty much any PR01s I've seen, but weaker than most FR02s....so I'm going to tentatively give it a PR/FR 1.5. It almost has a complete obv rim except for 1oclock-2oclock. Opinions? And then there were several other goodies! I knew there was a higher grade slq in addition, but couldnt read the date on the fifth row fifth column. Turned out to be a high grade 1918-s Last, and probably least; there was a decently detailed 1927-d I think this might be my best lot yet! I'm stoked! Report this Post to the Staff

I think it has a shot at FR02 from ANACS, but PCGS would probably give it a 1. It actually has better surfaces than my ANACS FR02, no real scratches and very few hairlines though the toning is a bit uneven. Report this Post to the Staff

The only other thing it could be is the 1927-d, but the "s" is the larger mintmark, and I'm pretty sure that was an s. I think someone is going to be quite pleased with that lot at melt. Everytime I see one certified (NGC or PCGS) and it's at bid (or within 5% either way), I buy it. No exceptions (unless it's real pricey). Last year I bought 250 face of Standing libs, got over 50 AU's (all common dates), 7 UNC's (None graded better than MS 62), an EF 23-S, and two G 4 27-S'. Report this Post to the Staff
