barryg Pillar of the Community United States 5862 Posts	Posted 05/02/2016 4:24 pm I'm not sure if this really counts as "in circulation", but I sold a coin to a dealer at a show a few weeks back and he paid with some musty-smelling "old money" that he said he recently got out of a house. Most were pretty grungy, but this one was worth keeping: He paid in 10s and 20s and they were all either from 1950 or 1963. I guess I could have saved all of them, but I was selling the coin because I wanted cash to spend in the first place... He was going to put it into the change machine, but I offered to trade explaining what I did, and he was cool with it and even traded the rest of the bills he had on him for my EMSed ones.
