A good bit of detail lost on the obverse. VG-8/10

Rims are still defined, but the bust is much of the original detail. VG8, IMO

I still have a lot to learn about grading, but I was thinking not higher than a VG 10. SHAFT and cwb8538, what did you see that caused you to bump it up to F12?

the wheat stalks are worn but visable in the upper wheat stalks.

as a basic rule of grading that would make the coin F-12,the obverse detail says VG-8 balanced grading dictates a VG-10 grade.

I think it's a GOOD, FINE example of a VERY GOOD coin. VG-10, overall, with a F-12 reverse.
