I purchased a home in 1983 where I found four coins in the basement. The front of the coins is amazingly similar to the US Standing Liberty quarter and they seem to be silver. I've attached a picture showing both. The front of the coin has a standing liberty and the word Libertad. The back is blank.
Hoping someone can help me identify them.

well libertad is spanish...it's likely an older mexian coin.

It's definitely not a coin. With a blank back, I'd vote for play money, especially if it's aluminum.

well pls.. he did say he thought it was silver. Try weighing the two and comparing the weights.

The coin/ medal is not aluminum. It has the look, feel, and weight of silver.
