Sorry... I don't see the ladder part of your note. Ladders are 1234 or 87654.

Could you at least clarify which of the numbers you are talking about?

Had a heart breaker here. Got these two notes at work yesterday and just missed a full 8 digit ladder by 24 notes! NOOOO! It really hurts to come that close and miss.

Great thread here. I recently found a 2006 star note. The serial code is, in my opinion, pretty awesome. J 00034500*

Condition is ok. I'll try and put a photo up later. What are your thoughts on value? I pulled this from circulation.

Actually I think one is as good as the other and you may get a little over face for them, I have some ladder type serials that also are not true ladders, while I think they are sort of cool most don't share my opinion apparently as no one is buying them, so good luck with yours.

Nick, I have been pondering this comment for a while Quote: I have some ladder type serials that also are not true ladders, while I think they are sort of cool most don't share my opinion apparently as no one is buying them Part of the issue is that currency collecting is still in its infancy and by extrapolation (if I may) fancy SN collecting is sort of the embryo and ladder sn's are you know what..... For instance I was looking at some fancy sn items I want to sell on bay. IF I list them in an odd ball manner (technically break up the notes from a set)...they are going for 3 to 4 times the price you or I would expect.
