Very nice pancake! I haven't found a silver quarter so far this year, a rare occurrence indeed!

Nice find Pancake! I was away from home this past week, and just out of boredom stopped at a local bank and got a few rolls. I got 5 rolls of half dollars and 10 quarters, all CWR's. Found a 1997D half I needed for a folder, but that was it out of the halves. Not much in the quarters either, except a 1995D that looks like it has a couple different kinds of minting or strike errors. The coin is well dented, in a halo around the top of Washington's head and from the edge view you can see it is a little wavy like a potato chip. At about the 4 o'clock position, straddling the D mint mark is a reverse or a T and Y, possibly a brockage strike? The T an Y are very clear but in reverse of the regular view of LIBERTY on the coin. Being as they are at the 4 o'clock of the face, looks like the quarter both slipped and rotated, with the slip causing the dent and the rotation leading to where the T and Y are in view. On the reverse, the edge of the coin from about 10 o'clock to past the 12 straight up has a series of dents at the edge and at the 7-9 o'clock area of the eagle there are dents or depressions from the rim to the field of the wing feathers. At first they looked like little starts to me, but I think they are just depressions. I don't really have anything stronger than a small lit magnifier to 3-5x, so its hard to really make out what they are, that's a busy part of the reverse. So that's about he extent of the CWR results.
At first I thought it was post mint damage until I saw the clear reversed T and Y on the obverse at the edge.

It's been a slow couple weeks. Here some quarter hunt finds because this thread hasn't had any update in a while. No silvers or "W" mint marks for me. A few foreigns and someone I guess bronzed a quarter for some reason.. I added it to my gold plated collection lol.
Good luck on your hunts!

Thank you guys for the words of encouragement. This week. Found a 2nd 2016P harpers ferry large rim Cud this yearvery similar to the one I found a few months ago. Also 1 canadian and 1 2012 chaco culture which I thought was interesting and kept.

I know the Chaco culture is post mint damage and man made but the reverse is cool in my opinion. There's some artist out there not signing their work. Lol look's like blue/black/red permanant pen.

I will make a post somewhere else about the rim Cud. Maybe where I posted the first one or a new one later.

Congrats on your finds pancake! I took a week off. Suffering from "W" burn out. Lol.I haven't come across one in more than a month and getting tired of the hunt at the moment so took a break and hopefully come back next week feelin a bit fresher about it.

I check ebay and sort by nearest to me and while there's plenty of Lowell and AMP Ws on there there is zero Guam or Texas in the the next 800 miles from me so I think it's unlikely I find them yet.

I dunno what happened to the distribution but it got all wonky after the released the American Memorial Park quarters.
