Great finds, John77. I agree that underfilled rolls are a feature of certain branches. One of my pickup banks is on a street called Short Street, and let's just say that it lives up to its address (but thankfully "Silver Street" would also be appropriate). My last two boxes were a Brinks one and a CWR one, probably from a local laundromat owner. The Brinks box yielded no silver or Ws, but the CWR one contained 3 Ws and a 1964. The tellers have told me that the laundromat owner who deposited the CWR box is a coin collector, and he has a machine to pick out silver. Maybe his machine needs a tune-up.

Quote: 800 CWR quarters bought from my favorite teller and searched on Wednesday brought me this neat 2008-S Alaska proof! Quote: The Brinks box yielded no silver or Ws, but the CWR one contained 3 Ws and a 1964. Nice finds!

I would think the S minted quarters are harder to find than the W's.

Quote: I would think the S minted quarters are harder to find than the W's. I would agree. They are more difficult to find, but not more difficult to acquire since the Mint sells them directly. You just have to be willing to accept them in bulk.

I bought $250 of MWR from my favorite branch/teller and $250 ($220 in MWR, $30 in CWR) from another branch on Thursday... 1 of the MWR produced this nice little coin from 1979 ...
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Doesn't look too bad for being in circulation. You could probably wipe off what gunk appears to be on it.

Here's the result of our recent dive into quarters. (This updates the post above). We did the equivalent of eight boxes - 16,000 coins - and I'm wondering whether our results are typical. Any thoughts? We found: 1 - 1964d 2 - 2019w San Antonio Missions 2 - 2019w War in the Pacific 2 - 2019w American Memorial Park 3 - impaired proofs 2 - plated coins We didn't know what to expect for W coins, and we had hoped for more than one silver coin. We also found 3 Canadian quarters, two nickels and one dime (each in the place of a quarter). We still have never found a 2011-D Olympic quarter; we have all the state, national park, and American Women Quarters that have been released (so far).
