Good News Good News. Maybe I'm not ready to write off quarters just yet. When I posted a few hours ago, I had looked at all but 6 or 8 rolls. So I went to the car for lunch and popped the others open. Opened one roll and saw 3 silver looking coins. It looked exactly like the 3 Canadian coins I had found in a different roll earlier. BUT, when I peeled back the clads on top of the first coin, I saw the white luster of that beautiful eagle on the reverse of a quarter...Yesir...I'm in business now. I pull the other two and they basically look exactly the same. 3 1964 D quarters that looked like the could have been pulled off the presses today. They are real beauties! I guess 3 quarters in 1 box would be considered beginners luck. Man I needed it because Halfs and Dimes have been brutal.

Very nice, Ricardocody!

You definitely should go back and get the rest of them.

Nice silver find. The 1969 canadian isn't silver though. Unless the canadian was just a hole filler in which case AWESOME! :-) CHEERS!

I haven't been roll searching, but I do seem to get a lot of quarters in every day change. What should I be looking for? 1964 and earlier and the 2004 extra leaf are the only ones I know to look for.

Coindog mentions the Canadians as good finds. Do they have numismatic or metal value above face? Frankly, I was more annoyed then excited because I thought I had found silver.

How you guys roll searching? I love quarters...but unlike dimes...I know there are some cool stuff out there to find in them. Do you individually search? or?
