1938 Rupee Price War? - Coin Community Forum

Or is it a copper nickel rupee? I can't seem to tell the difference between silver and copper-nickel in this coin. Report this Post to the Staff

echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 11/08/2010 4:33 pm The coin is .9170 silver, it's a very nice looking coin that looks like it is MS-63, maybe MS-64. Value in that grade should be around $35. There was a proof coin KM#554 struck with a value about $550, and a proof like re strike coin with the same number as this KM#555, but that is listed at over $1000. This coin isn't either of those.
