Gots me a 1972 Canadian dime, 1958 silver shilling, a 2005 Euro 5 cent piece, a 1982 and 2005 Canadian nickel, 2 Canadian cents, a 1961 U.S dime and a strange Asian coin with a hole in the center. I think it's a 50 cent yen piece or something. Not all in one day,of course, over the last few months.

Found a 1962 dime today! My first find after checking the machine religiously for months.

^^ Not as bad as you'd think. Certainly not as bad as those coins in the mint bags get damaged.

Aussie 10c 2007 piece Filipino 2003 1 piso canadian penny 2007 mangled roosevelt that appears to be clad
as before pretty much novelty value but not bad for a trip that was not specifically about checking the machine.
oh and I think a 2007 or so dime in a ghetto coinstar competitor I found at the local vons.
and yet another dumper who scrupulously gathered all their rejects...this particular machine seems to be extremely popular.

Today I found a $1000.00 Pesos coin in the coinstar at my bank. I got really excited when I saw that at today's conversion rate that's about $86.50 US dollars. But then I realized that because the coin was minted in 1989...its pretty much worthless since Mexico started printing the "new" pesos in 1994. One new pesos is equal to 1000 old pesos. Therefore the coin I found is worth about $0.09 US dollars, but from what I have read, you can't even have it converted anymore. Still...a pretty cool find and a good coin to start my coinstar collection with.

picked up a badly damaged blackened LMC which looked like it was caked with laundry residue...haven't checked to see if the date is legible.

From a bank's coin counting machine, I found $1.51 Canadian: a loonie, a quarter, two dimes, a nickel, and a penny. This is the third loonie I've found in U.S. circulation.

Last week I found a 1961 dime in the return slot and a steel cent on the ground next to the machine.

Actually found something in the Billerica, Mass Hannaford supermarket machine today, first time - I think folks miss what's in the slot because the machine is making so much noise... 1974 quarter 1991 P dime 1999 P nickel LMC unk, corroded 1996 Canary Islands cent (looks copper-looking, smaller than a cent) 2 'Where a Kid Can Be a Kid' tokens (YAHOO, off to the arcade!)

They have the Coinstar machine nicely tucked away at the local CVS. I sneak a peek every now and then but I don't see anything.
