well, if you're throwin' in that error-coin, then I feel okay entering my "3" errors into the ring (hopefully that's okay, Zonad?) Quarter on a ten cent planchet: Quarter on a one cent planchet: Broadstruck Quarter: ==> sorry, but I just couldn't resist tossing-in my errors with the big-boys (hopefully I didn't water-down your show) thanks

Some come from deep pockets. I was very lucky to get 25 errors in one group.

I've picked-up all three of my errors from auctions ... almost every auction will have a few error coins and/or error bills to bid on ... => I love quarters => I love errors => so I absolutely go nuts if I ever see a 25 cent error coin! (but as Zonad eluded to => they can obviously be a bit pricey) ... but they're one of a kind, right? ... and wow, how cool are these coins? => cool!

Steve, How much did you pay for the Quarter on a penny planchet?
I have a similar coin (which was posted in a few other threads) but mine is a dollar (loon design) on a penny planchet.

Canadian-Banknotes => "one million dollars" ... seriously, I can't exactly rmember, but I'm pretty sure that they were approximately as follows: quarter on ten cent planchet = $600 (PCGS MS64) quarter on one cent planchet = $300 (PCGS MS62) Broadstruck quarter = $100 (ANACS AU55) => again, that is a rough guess (my memory is iffy)

I couldn't resist ... => I saw this error coin and I lept at it (1967 centennial nickel struck on foreign planchet) Sure maybe it's not my best investment, but man => "I can't get enough of these error coins!"

Zimmy => I'm gonna have to get back to you on that => it was merely listed as "1967 Off Metal Strike Error (non-magnetic)" ... ... but I absolutely love the 1967 Centennial coins, so as soon as I saw it, I knew that it was coming to my house!

I am surprised that two other 5c error collectors I know missed that one... good find! What is even more amazing, is that piece looks like it actually circulated...
