Yes, my new 1967 centennial is listed as EF/AU ... so I think you're correct about the circulating thingy.

=> wow Smallcentguy, that's a total unique winner!

I saw that one earlier on ebay Smallcentguy, but I did not snap it up. Not red enough for me... good buy though, anything more than 50% offstruck whereby you can read the date, is a good coin.

I can't get my eyes/brain to recognise one side details as being incluse. How about you? Here's a picture with it and another coin.

Wonderful coin Randy. I saw that one on ebay, but I already suspected you were going after that coin (to match the others you have) - so I did not bid (besides, it is not a small, red, cent error). I am glad to see it is going to a good home.

Maybe Rob Turner can pipe in here, but I assume the reverse die was the hammer die, even back then? I would suspect a reverse brockage to be that much more unlikely to happen, compared to an obverse brockage (like your provincial cent). Are you able to identify what reverse die that is, using Turner's 2007 book? I love how even the die cracks at leaf #2 and #7 are also mirrored.

At last month's auction, I bid and won a lot of 10 error coins (I paid $200 for all ten coins) ... some are kinda weak, but a few are quite neat/nice/cool ...

Note => "I" personally love the error coins, so regardless I think it was money well spent.

However, I am merely curious whether you guys (the experts, my peers) think this type of purchase is lucrative, or whether it is a waste of coin-cash?

Please comment ... I promise I won't take any of your comments personally (well, I say that now anyway)

Here are photos of the 10 coins (20 photos) ... thanks for your comments

Thanks Zonad ... yah, I think I did well too ...

You certainly might be right about the 1948 coin (it is "hollow" and doesn't seem to be in the same league as the other coins) ... I should probably get it checked-out seperately, for if it is actually legit, then it would certainly be the cream of the crop, right?

Thanks again for your comments (your opinion means a lot!)

=> oh, and nice coin, coincollect1 ! (pretty slick)
