Some lovely coins here - Eddiediz, that dollar is stunning!
There is something really special about an 18th-century US coin. British copper coins of the 1700s are still quite common, as are certain dates of silver and gold coins

My oldest US coin is a 1831 coronet large cent in VG-7

This 1793 S-3 is my oldest U.S federal issue coin. I purchased this coin in the 1986 B&M sale of the Bebee collection. It has it share of problems as can be seen, but the date is still discernible and the coin still nice overall (and of course quite historical).

Hmmmm, I haven't the slightest idea what my oldest U.S. coin is....  Gonna have to check one of these days.
