It's an 1884CC MS-64 NGC graded GSA slab. I hit the minimum reserve with 3 seconds left in the auction. Have always wanted a CC and a GSA slab, plus it's graded. I'm happy. Ed Edited by edweather 12/28/2013 12:02 pm

Although stagnant prices for now, you got an example which will please you for years to come. I have one 'though not so great. A 'CC' is magical.

Thanks. The pictures the seller used weren't that great, which is why I didn't link them. I was kinda relying on NGC and the 64. Will post a decent pic when I get it.

Be careful of the CC's. You will want another, and another, and another... I finished the silver dollar CC's and have about half of the double eagle CC's...that's how addicting they are...lol Congrats, btw!

82-CC, 83-CC, and 84-CC are underrated but since yours is in one of those 70's era GSA that's even better. Usually at a local auction a GSA of the three aforementioned dates will sell for a premium about 20-30% over the regular numismatic market.
