Same here, mine is scheduled for Saturday delivery. I didn't get the email BH1964 posted, but this whole distribution and ordering processes has been a real ---->

Leave it to the mint to leave a trail of dazed and confused suppliers and customers.

It looks like ebay sellers have already started to pre-sale ATB 3"5oz collector(numismatic)versions of the hot spring coins the first ones to put up there's for sale have the best chance at huge profits before the prices go down over time !

The early bird gets the worm

I wonder how much the mint will be selling them for ?

Sorry to burst your bubble PQ, I think DLRC misdescribed this one, the "P" is not on the label nor on the advertised coin where the mintmark would ordinarily go, and I bet you $5.00 that these burnished uncirculated coins are NOT going to merit a PL, DMPL designation at all! I've dealt with the Feigenbaums for years now, they don't presell coins that they don't have possession of.

Yee-Hah! Got my "coasters" from FideliTrade on Saturday! They come in easy-to-open plastic cases. So don't let them slip! These things are huge! Mine all look to be in pretty good shape. Clean, shiny, razzle/dazzle stuff! (Except on the Grand Canyon platter, there might be a slight brush mark on George's cheek.)

I'll have them graded by PCGS in May. I'm very pleased!

My JHCB package was delivered. I was a little disappointed with the packaging. The coins are in individual #000 bubble envelopes. I was hoping for something more permanent. Also I was a little concerned about getting some adhesive on the coins taking them out and putting them back in the envelope.

The coins themselves all appear DMPL.

Good to know, RPT. I'll pick up some Z5 direct fit Air-Tites from my local dealer, as I don't plan on sending this set in for grading, at least for now. The prices are coming down on the 68 & 69 ERs in favor of the DMPLs.

An update today for the Gettyburg and Glacier 5 oz. bullion coins, courtesy of the Commodityonline website:

Quote:

(Kitco News) - The U.S. Mint plans to release the first two coins in its 2011 five-ounce silver bullion coins in two weeks and with "substantially higher" quantities than in did for the 2010 series, the Mint said Thursday.

Starting April 25, the Mint will accept orders for the first two of the 2011 "America the Beautiful" five-ounce silver bullion coins on an equal, allocated basis to its authorized purchasers, which is how the Mint distributes its bullion coins.

In a memo to this authorized purchasers, the Mint said it will issue these coins "in quantities substantially higher than we did for the 2010 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Bullion Coins Program. As a result, there will beno terms and conditions imposed on the 2011 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Bullion Coins Program," the memo said, emphasizing the words "no terms and conditions imposed."

Specifically the Mint is allocating 126,500 coins initially for each of the first two coins, and the goal is to have a minimum of at least 126,500 coins for each of remaining three coins in the 2011 designs. It "may increase the mintage limit beyond the initial release quantities based on market demand and blank availability," the Mint said.

To participate in the program, authorized purchasers must certify they sold all of their 2010 "America the Beautiful" five-ounce silver bullion coins.

The first two coins are Gettysburg National Military Park and Glacier National Park.

Late last year the Mint had to delay the release of the 2010 designs because of concerns of price gouging. Also, only 33,000 of each of the five, five-ounce silver bullion coins were released.
