Quote: Hey Parkquarters, I received the same e-mail, I thought about for a minute, I think I'll pass. Are you going to take them up on their offer?
Im sill waiting for some sets to arrive from the ap's that I had family order for me do to the one per house hold limit but I plan on not opening them in hope's that I can get a better offer for them unopened on the secondary market and witch should still provide the buyers with the first strike designations if not I will cherry pick hopefully a 69 dmpl set out of the bunch and send them in for TPG and sell the rest just above spot or so we will see after I receive them all.

I think near full stike(69's)trump the first stike designation no one really knows what coin was struck first except for the mint and I dont know if the date on the box can actually pin point first strikes although first strike carries a hefty premium . What would you do open the box to send in the best coins only for grading thus losing the first strike designation or selling the unopened box for higher profits but losing the possibilty of dmpl ? Is there a way or extra fee one could pay a top TPG co.to just grade the 69 pl dpl or dmpl coins only and be able to keep the first stike desination ?

NGC Early Release is expired...not applicable anymore...box date irrelevant PCGS..all ATB 5oz. are eligible..no date cut off..do not have to send in a sealed box and the date on the box is AP dependent NOT Mint dependent and not applicable anyway with this issue Grades: you can specify a minimum grade and First Strike is applicable to ALL ATB submissions..but you will still pay the grading fee

Nothing about shipping. We are very small potatoes to them, so "expediting" is not in their vocabulary for us.

Dear ModernCoinMart/Customer
The United States Mint is offering a product for $279.95 with a limit of one per person, per household on Thursday April 28th at noon at their website. Here is the link that describes the product:
We are in need of several hundred of these, and as we have done in the past are willing to pay a premium for you and your friends and family to buy them for us. We will pay $330 each for the first 400 commitments we receive. We will also add another $25 for USPS express mail shipping and insurance so that you can overnight the coin to us when it arrives. If you are interested in this opportunity, please respond to britta@moderncoinmart.com and she will then email you step by step instructions.
Throughout the year opportunities like this present themselves and sometimes you can make a quick and easy profit. We've been doing this now for years with no problems; it is straightforward and backed by our longstanding reputation. We remember those that help us on the smaller purchases like this when the larger and more profitable opportunities come along.
Best Regards,
John Maben CEO, JMRC/ ModernCoinMart

Quote: Coins-n-things cashed my check 18 days ago and I have not heard a word...very poor service. Would have expected something by now... With the possible exception of APMEX, the APs are poor examples of running a coin dealership. They have ridiculous markups on bullion and expensive shipping charges, not to mention being stupidly slow.

I would caution people about the ModernCoinMart offer only because you gain a maximum of $45 ($330 - $285 delivered cost) for your time and packaging materials. If you accept, you are giving up a 27,000 piece maximum mintage piece that is limited to 1 per household. ModernCoinMart is great to do business with and I put them on par with APMEX in regards to customer service and speed of payment. I've sold to them many times and they are good people. I caution you because the $45 you'd "gross" is not a good offer IMHO. If it were $100 more it would be worth considering.
