I just received mine just arrived as well. The finish is just what we all wish was still the norm on the frosted devices of our proof coins, a very fine grain, perfectly even frost. The mint should be using this process on the die for proofs. I posted 600DPI (1800 pixel) scan images over on the about.com coins forum. I will take some photos and post those later.

The Mint still doesn't appear to be sold out but they haven't removed the one per household ordering limit.

Got mine as well. An impressive coin indeed, and massive.

And silver is on the rise again, so that's nice. I sure hope the price on these guys stays under $300 per for future releases.

Who's going for the full set?
Rest in Peace

Anyone looking for employment, drop them a line and tell them they need a fulfillment flunky.

Next numis-puck release was announced by the U.S. Mint today.

05/17/2011: 2010 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins™ -- Yellowstone National Park

Price is still $279.95 from what I understand.

I received mine today and it is really nice. The little lady did notice a tiny, tiny mark on the upper lip. I will look at it under magnification tomorrow when I am not so tired. Does anyone know if the mint will send me another if I send this one back/

I really don't think express service is worth it ($50 + 18 + 20 = $88 per coin x 5 = $440 per set (plus handling fee AND 2 way shipping)

Now THAT will cut into your "profit" MUCH more than the spot price of silver

We got ours yesterday. Awesome! Some folks have been getting them with creases between the letters in hot springs. Evidently the metal got bent a bit when the press came down and caused some creasing. They were complaining, but it seems to me to be an error just as any mess up at the mint.

This is mine:

I got my call from prudential that my "account" has been approved. That is about 10 days from when I mailed it I guess. Said I should get something from the shipper within 3 weeks, then I can send 65 bucks and have them shipped to me. What a stupid way to sell coins...
