Trying to find a good website online to purchase Mint State 63+ Kennedy and Franklin halves. Does anyone know a cheap and trustworthy website to find these?

Thanks

R & I Coins is very good, but not necessarily cheap. But their quality is top notch.

Quality>Price. Id Rather spend 1000$ on a set of top notch Kennedy's rather than 300$ for some garbage ones. One day the top notched will be worth much much more.

Your best bet may also be to look for Uncirculated sets still intact in mint packaging. I have found some of these in the 6 dollar range, and just picked up a 1964 set for 36.00 at a local coin shop. The halves looked like they just came off the press.

$36 is a fantastic price for 1964 uncirculated sets. Each set has $1.70 in 90% silver, which at today's $28.78 spot is $35.39 in silver alone. A couple years ago I bought 10 1864 uncirculated sets from APMEX for $23 each on a day when the silver was worth $24 (they raised the price a few days later). The 1963 Franklin sets are often as well priced, it is like getting the cents and nickels free.

Do these prices look for or is it a better investment to just go with the mint sets?

I guess I am just trying to figure out the most efficient way of purchasing MS Kennedy halves. It looks like that the Mint sets is the best path but I sort of want to find a dealer that I can buy them all from instead of buying random ones off ebay.

I don't have a suggestion for a website, but I have 8 Mint Sets that I will sell (1970, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1979, 1980, 1981 & 1984.) PM if you are interested.

If you go to Daves Coins

You can buy the halves still in mint celo.

BTW just being from a mint set doesn't necessarily mean they are real high grade coins.

Daves is a good online place to buy uncirculated halves at a reasonable price.

Just saying there is no guarantee you're going to get an MS63+ coin from a mint set.

Ya I went ahead and bought all the Mint cellos from 1971-2010 from him. Spent 60$ so not to bad, hopefully this will mostly complete my set.
