Hi,

I have this 1923 silver dollar and I'm trying to get some information on it. I've seen a few different ones, and this one does not have any letter stamped on the back under the word "ONE" like some do. I've seen prices range from $30 all the way to $2000. Can anyone help me?

What you have there is a 1923 United States Peace dollar from the Philadelphia mint.

It is a relatively common date I would estimate the retail value of your coin at about $25.

Welcome!

You've got a common date, worth maybe $25 unless there is something special I'm missing. It's a nice hunk of silver. Lack of a letter (mint mark) indicates it was minted in Philadelphia.

It has .87oz of silver in it. It has a couple of issues, but is worth at least .87 X the spot price of an ounce of silver. You could likely sell it for a dollar or two over that.
