I cannot explain why I'm so obsessed with them but I am. Anywho, I would love to acquire some more 67's, but getting parental permission is rather difficult. Just see my want list https://goccf.com/t/128714 But I would say I am interested

I am jealous of everyone's finds. I am just beginning the hobby and picking up 2 boxes of cents on Thursday. I hope I get as lucky as some of you!

I may have gotten incredibly lucky today. I went to go pick up two boxes of pennies today for my first attempt at crh and as I walked in a nice old couple was turning in change. I bought 50 dollars of their pennies. I am kicking myself now because I should have bought it all there was about 300 total with the higher coinage but I couldn't logically invest that much (recent university grad so still student poor) Cant wait to go through it already see a wheatie mixed into the Canadians at the end of one roll.

As I said before I am officially kicking myself for not buying all of that nice old mans change. My goal for this first time was to get one of as many years possible (just to have for myself seems like a good start) I managed to get cents from 1957-2012. This would have been a copper savers coin hunting dream. I, however, have don't have much interest in keeping copper. I do however enjoy the Young Queen portrait so I kept all I found of those. Anyway here are the results: 1-1934 Unfortunately this one is fairly beat up but the oldest Canadian I found 1 - 1940 1-1950, 6-1953, 5-1957, 2-1958, 3 - 1959 1-1960,3-1961, 3- 1962, 6-1963, 14-1964, 11-1967 Centennial Since the portrait changed in 1965 I wasn't as interested so I kept about 4 of each until 1970 except for the 1967. The one 1962 I found looks really good and shiny same with most of the coins I am keeping after 1980. I always kept the pennies with red colouring since it looks really cool and have that for 1982, 1983, 1986, 1989. I also found a 2003 with realy cool toning. I will post some pictures of it all in a little while. Finally to finish everything off I also found: 1929, 1946, 1953 Wheat Cents with no mint Marks 2 - 2 Cent Euros 1 - British New Penny. I am going to call this first time a success. Edit: Here is a picutre of the 1934, 1940, and 1950

That is great! I'm still looking for my first KGV penny and I have searched a lot. Hope that puts those coins in perspective.

Yeah, the excitement I felt when I found those three hooked me for now and am going to search as many pennies as I can before they are gone for good. Going to dump this last $50 and pick up another after work today.

$1.50. But that's great. Usually you get the opposite!

Well these last two boxes were definitely a treat. In total I found 7 rolls of nickels in the two boxes.
As for the penny finds I came away with: Only 1 KGV 1 - 1933 Multiple KGVI 2-1938, 5 - 1940, 3 - 1941, 5 - 1942, 5 - 1943, 3 - 1944, 5 - 1945 6 - 1946, 4 - 1947, 11 - 1948, 1 - 1949, 4 - 1950, 6 - 1951, 6 - 1952
and countless Young Queens some in absolutely excellent condition. I think I am also nearing a full roll of 1967 commemeratives.
Also found another British New Penny and a One Cent Barbados coin.
Also managed find a lot of Wheaties. Came away with 40 in total all various dates the oldest was a 1913S
All in all I think these were a couple of really good boxes.
